Our Mission
Jackleg Coffee - Our Mission
We pride ourselves in our missions. There are 4 main points on what makes us unique.
We price our beans lower than other 'Specialty Grade' beans sold in Canada because we strongly believe that coffee should be affordable and every person deserves the best quality of coffee bean from Indonesian islands that is hard to find in Canada.
Most coffee shops and stores only source their beans from the Sumatra Island in Indonesia. However, we want to introduce the beans from other islands as well like Java Island and Bali. We are also committed to sourcing only the finest, ethically, and sustainability-produced beans.
The focus on quality extends beyond the roasting process as we also prioritize fair trade practices and support communities that cultivate these exceptional coffees.
We will continue our journey and remain committed to pushing the boundaries of coffee excellence, exploring new flavours, and sharing our passion for the perfect cup with coffee lovers in Canada.
Our Team
Angie - Hard Worker #1
Angie was born and raised in Sudbury. She started drinking coffee at age 14, to stay awake in the dull high school world. Throughout the years, she has developed her coffee palate to be more sensitive to different flavors of beans. She enjoys the freshly ground coffee beans every morning that Jackleg Coffee offers. She became part of our team to promote and share the quality of our coffee beans in her community.
She has a career in underground mining specializing in surveying and ventilation. Angela also holds a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) certification. She loves to talk shop and answer any mining questions.

Randy - Hard Worker #2
Randy helps Angie find the perfect cup of coffee. He learned, studied, and experimented with every bean from different regions to make a perfect balance. He became part of our team because he also wants to share our unique variation of coffee beans at the community where he grew up.
He also has a career in mining industry. He started his career as a miner using Jackleg machinery. Now, he is well-versed in project management, holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Professional Engineering (P.Eng) license, and he is finishing up his Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is also a proud member of Mine Rescue in Ontario Province.

Noodle - Not so hard worker #3
Woof!
Noodle is Angie & Randy's emotional support but she is very destructive due to her young age of less than a year old; she chews books, toilet paper, and anything that she can grab with her teeth.
However, look how cute she is; Who can be mad with her looks
She is the friendliest pup you will ever see, and loves the company and attention from any person. Unfortunately, She is a very bad guard dog.
